WORX TriVac WG500 Review
Most people have seen the WORX Trivac on various infomercials and they tend to immediately spark interest in the device because of its size and weight. Even if you yourself don’t have any trees in your yard many people tend to have neighbors on either sides of their property and wind will blow them onto your property.
The Trivac offers 3 uses in one device. It is a:
- Leaf Blower
- Leaf Vacuum
- Leaf Mulcher
The Trivac collection bag is roughly 1.5 bushels in size and the mulch ratio is 10 to 1 so it can store plenty of leaves without a need to head over to the dumping area. If you suffer from back pain then the WORX vacuum is great as only being 8.4 pounds in weight will not put a strain on your back.
Although the Trivac is great at picking up leaves it especially excels with dry leaf pick up. It is very easy to clean out any blockages due to its simple efficient construction. Each of the 3 parts lock into the other without a hitch. There are 7 speeds for the blower, and the operation is graceful.
On other models it can be a pain to switch the attachments to mulch versus blow. But the WORX Trivac simply require a flip of a switch operation, I knew it was a pain to switch the attachments to mulch versus blow. But now that I have the flip of a switch operation, I would not want to go back. The switch is on top of the blower so it is easy to switch the machine off in case it gets clogged
When you order a device you will get it delivered in 3 parts. That is the nozzle, powerful blower/mulcher/vacuum and leaf Collection bag.
I would definitely recommend using the WORX Trivac on dry leaf pickup. The great thing is the variable speed, in more delicate areas you can reduce the speed. If you’re in the market for a leaf vacuum then the Trivac is all you need.
“This is the best purchase and a great product! It turned what would have been a long job raking leaves into a short and pleasant one. It was getting so if I saw one more leaf on my lawn I was going to have my trees chopped down. Thanks WORX for producing a very good product. Lightweight and even sucked up some large pieces of mulch that was raked out of the flower beds. I would recommend this product to everyone who wants to lessen their work load when working outdoors.“

“I read a lot of reviews about this and wanted one at the local big box, but they were always sold out. I found this one and the piece that goes over the trash can. It’s totally worth it. I recall seeing some reviews with people complaining about it being dusty. Here’s what I have to say about that. Working in your yard involves dirt and dust and debris. Get over it. I’ve used plenty of blowers and yard vacuums and mowers over the years and this is far and away the best solution I’ve found for a small yard. My back yard has 3 large trees and is about 30’x40′. I wouldn’t leave home without it.“

“I absolutely cannot say enough about this product. It makes yard clean up fun and it really saves your back because you don’t have to bend and stoop. The suction is more than enough to do the job as long as the leaves are dry. I don’t use half the bags I used to when I didn’t mulch with the Tri Vac. I will be buying another because I never want to be without my TriVac.“
