To get big jobs completed it comes with a 17.7-ounce fuel tank for longer run time and a maximum air speed of 145 mph to get leaves moving.

The blower has greatly reduced greenhouse emissions over traditional 2-stroke engines due to it not requiring a fuel mix so giving better fuel efficiency and cleaner emissions

  • It starts very easily and is ready to go in just a few seconds.
  • There is no hesitation once it starts and from there on it just purrs like a big cat. A
  • nd don’t be fooled by the 145 MPH air speed from this tool, it offers ample power for all tasks.
  • The Makita 4-stroke is significantly more quiet at idle than similar 2-stroke blowers, but when at full power will be as loud as other blowers.

Some users feel that the blower could have been designed better. Their main issued is with the location of the air intake, as it is on the left side of the machine. For a right handed person the intake is next to your leg. Some have found that this has led to them inadvertently blocking the air intake.

A great blower, built to be sturdy, and still lightweight. The power in your hands is amazing and the best part is no gas/oil mix, so the BHX2500CA  very easy to refuel. It goes for a long while on a tank.

I have been using this blower now for about a month. I have a 3 acre yard and huge patio’s. This blower does the job and I am happy with it. Nothing to put together and I do not have to worry about 2 stroke oil. It also starts very easily. My wife can start it, which with our 2 stroke blower she always had a hard time starting it. Lot’s of power and I am extremely happy.

Replaced a more powerful ??? electric blower. Eliminating the deployment and recovery of 500 feet of extension cord, etc etc etc makes this product a winner. Starts like no other 2 or 4 cycle small engine I own or have owned, usually on first or second pull. Add no mixing of oil to gas, a winner!

This blower has been outstanding. I bought it in May this year and 5 months later of using it every weekend it has been reliable and gets the job done. It starts in one pull almost all the time. It is very efficient with gas as well. When you fill it up with oil the first time be careful since you have to turn it over to its side to fill it. Overall, I highly recommend this product. No issues.

This Makita BHX2500CA blower is very easy to start, operates quietly and gets the job done. It is engineered to have a smaller environmental impact. If you have a large outdoor area with lots of trees, with plenty of nutshell and acorn then this is the blower for you. And remember to put oil in it before you start it up.
