Swimline 8040 Professional Heavy Duty Deep-Bag Pool RakeCustomer Reviews

I had a much more expensive one that did not last a whole season. I bought this as a temporary replacement and it works better than the first one. It held up another season and I’m very impressed!

This is the best way to remove leaves and floating debris. It holds a lot of leaves and is easy to dump into a trash can. It is all plastic and will wear out , but will not mark the pool plaster. After heavy winds it is the quickest way to remove leaves. I have put it to a lot of use and the screen part has held up well. The front part of the screen is shaped like a dust pan/shovel to remove bottom debris. This part shows wear but is still working after much use. It is light , all plastic, not very expensive and won’t rust.

This is a heavy duty plastic and does not bend under normal use, making it viable enough to maneuver in and out of the water. If the net does not separate from the plastic, it should last a very long time and I would be very happy. The aluminum ones sold by the chain stores are extremely flimsy & very expensive with a ridiculously stupid built-in useful life of one season; that’s it. Just ordered the telescopic pole and brush. Happy with my selection.

The Swimline 8040 Pool Rake is reasonably priced, and is constructed from durable material. It will definitely help to save the time it takes in scooping leaves from the bottom of the pool.
